According to the Jersey Daily, PSE&G officials said the company would install about 5,000 to 7,000 solar panels on public poles around Hudson County as part of its solar 4 project.
Local solar panels are part of the state plan to install more than 200,000 solar panels in more than 250 cities in New Jersey.
\"Solar panels are directly connected to the grid,\" explains Fran Sullivan, a spokesman for PSE&G.
